The Hudsonville Community Fair is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly environment for all guests, exhibitors, volunteers, vendors, and participants.

Entry onto the Hudsonville Community Fairgrounds constitutes acceptance of these policies. All visitors are expected to conduct themselves in a safe, respectful, and lawful manner while attending the Fair.

By entering the fairgrounds, you agree to comply with all Fair rules and the directions of Fair officials, security personnel, emergency responders, and law enforcement.

General Policies

The Hudsonville Fair Association, its Board of Directors, volunteers, employees, and agents are not responsible for injury, loss, theft, vandalism, or damage to persons, animals, exhibits, vehicles, equipment, or personal property while on the fairgrounds.

Every reasonable effort is made to provide a safe and enjoyable environment; however, attendance and participation are at your own risk.

Solicitation, petitioning, demonstrations, distribution of literature, posting of signs, fundraising, political campaigning, or the sale or promotion of goods or services is prohibited unless specifically approved by the President of the Hudsonville Fair Association, the Fair Board, or the Marketing Chair.

The Fair reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or interferes with the safety or enjoyment of others.

First Aid & Information

The First Aid Station, located near Building 10, is staffed during Fair operating hours by EMS personnel to assist with medical needs.

The Fair Office is staffed throughout Fair Week by knowledgeable Hudsonville Fair Board Members who are available to answer questions, provide information, and assist visitors.

If you need medical assistance, have a question, or require help of any kind, please visit the First Aid Station or Fair Office, or contact a Hudsonville Fair Board Member, police officer, or EMS personnel. Hudsonville Fair Board Members can be identified by their official Fair credentials.

ATM

An ATM is conveniently located on the fairgrounds. During periods of high demand, cash availability cannot be guaranteed.

Lost & Found

Lost and found items should be reported to or claimed at the Fair Office.

Lost Children

If you find a lost child or become separated from your child, immediately notify the Fair Office, a Hudsonville Fair Board Member, police officer, or EMS personnel.

Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision and conduct of minors in their care at all times.

Animals

For the safety of our exhibitors, livestock, and guests, pets are not permitted on the fairgrounds.

The only exception is a service animal individually trained to perform work or tasks for a person with a disability, as recognized under applicable law.

Prohibited Items & Conduct

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, the following items and activities are prohibited anywhere on the fairgrounds, including parking areas, unless specifically authorized by the Hudsonville Fair Association:

Weapons of any kind.

Alcoholic beverages not specifically permitted by the Fair.

Illegal drugs or controlled substances.

Fireworks, explosives, or incendiary devices.

Laser pointers or laser lights.

Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, hoverboards, e-bikes, e-scooters, golf carts, ATVs, UTVs, and other personal recreational or motorized transportation devices, unless specifically authorized by the Hudsonville Fair Association.

Drones or other unmanned aircraft systems, unless specifically authorized by the Hudsonville Fair Association.

Any item or activity determined by Fair Management to present a safety risk.

Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco products are prohibited inside buildings, barns, livestock areas, grandstands, and any posted smoke-free areas. Such products may be used only in designated areas approved by the Hudsonville Fair Association.

Coolers, backpacks, purses, large bags, and other packages may be subject to inspection upon entry or while on the fairgrounds.

Parking

Vehicles parked on Fair property are left at the owner’s risk. The Hudsonville Fair Association assumes no responsibility for theft, loss, vandalism, or damage to vehicles or their contents.

Parking on Fair property is prohibited between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., except as specifically authorized by the Hudsonville Fair Association.

Weather & Emergency Operations

The Hudsonville Fair Association reserves the right to delay, modify, relocate, suspend, or cancel any event or activity due to severe weather, emergencies, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond its control.

During emergencies or severe weather, all guests, exhibitors, vendors, volunteers, and participants are expected to immediately follow the directions of Fair officials, security personnel, emergency responders, law enforcement, and official public announcements.

Photography & Video Notice

By entering the Hudsonville Community Fair, you acknowledge that photographs, video recordings, and other media may be captured for promotional, educational, archival, or marketing purposes.

By attending, you grant the Hudsonville Fair Association permission to use your likeness, without compensation, in print, digital, social media, broadcast, or other promotional materials.

Strollers & Wheelchairs

Strollers and wheelchairs are not available for rent. Guests are encouraged to make arrangements before arriving at the Fair.

Compliance with Fair Rules

All visitors are expected to follow Fair rules and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws while on the fairgrounds.

Individuals who violate Fair rules or engage in unsafe, unlawful, or disruptive conduct may be denied admission, removed from the property without refund, and referred to law enforcement when appropriate.
